COMMUNITY DIRECTED FUNDS SEEKS REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS

The Lower Columbia Community Development Team Society (LCCDTS) is seeking the services of professional Consultants to support the committee in executing a Community Engagement & Planning Project to establish strategic priorities to support sustainable development in the Lower Columbia region. These priorities will guide the allocation of $600,000 in funding, over 3 years, which has been contributed by Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) under their Community Directed Funds (CDF) Program. The plan will be developed with appropriate and transparent community engagement as well as support public participation. To view more information on the RFP requirements visit www.lcic.ca.

ABOUT COMMUNITY DIRECTED FUNDS

CBT is supporting groups of communities to work together to determine priorities for the area as whole. One area being supported is the Lower Columbia – representing the area comprised of Rossland, Warfield, Trail, Montrose, Fruitvale and Areas A and B of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary.

The CDF Committee for the Lower Columbia Region has a vision of a stronger Lower Columbia Community through investment in creative initiatives, and a mission to manage the funds for the benefit of the community.
