Education is an important aspect of West Kootenay culture. We have active communities that employ a variety of educational opportunities to increase knowledge and build our networks. Learning resources are available locally beginning with kindergarten, elementary and secondary schools. But it doesn’t stop there.
Selkirk College operates 8 campuses and learning centres in the West Kootenay and Boundary regions. It provides access to university transfer courses, technology, career and vocations programs.
